Yoga Moves Can be the Right Move

Likewise, using yoga moves properly will help one to maximize one’s yoga mastery.
Yoga is a method of exercising that is done as part of a Hindu regimen to encourage the control of one’s mind and body. Sometimes yoga is incorrectly referred to as a religion, when it is actually a lifestyle that has the objectives of tranquillity and good health.
An Asanas Arsenal
The physical aspect of yoga begins with asanas, the yoga moves or postures. The function of these postures is to fortify, tone, and straighten the body. More specifically, the asanas are done to encourage the flow of blood to the body’s tissues, glands, and organs and to make the backbone healthy and flexible.
Just as there are various types of aerobic or weightlifting programs, these yoga moves can be used in a variety of systems. Classical yoga is segmented into eight limbs. Each of these limbs contributes to a total system that includes one’s physical, mental and spiritual health.
Half of the limbs are related to physical yoga movements and mental exercises that are used to balance one’s body and mind. The other four limbs are related to various meditation phrases. Bhakti, Hatha, Jnana, Karma, Raja, and Tantra yoga are the major varieties of yoga, with each having a unique regimen of yoga moves.

Hatha yoga is the most popular type of yoga engaged in the U.S. It is a complex system of almost 200 yoga postures, yoga moves, and breathing methods. The goal is to optimize the body’s health.
